About Us
Seasons of the Glens was conceived in 2017 after recognising a growing need within the local food community. Many small producers were unable to consistently attend markets for a variety of reasons, including time constraints and resource limitations. To address this challenge, we developed the idea of a mobile shop that could bring their goods to local communities when they couldn’t.

Development began in early 2018, with research into the demand for such a service, alongside consultations with local producers to better understand their needs. The concept was also explored through the Artisan Connect Programme, delivered by NNCG and funded by the Causeway Coast and Glens Landscape Partnership Scheme. With the support of the Rank Foundation’s Profit for Good programme, Seasons of the Glens then became a reality in 2019, offering a crucial service for both local producers, creatives and consumers.

In response to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded our operations in 2020 to include an online shop— artisan market online—retailing a wide selection of locally sourced food, art, and craft. This complemented our existing market stalls and provided a much-needed lifeline for producers during a difficult time.

In 2021, leveraging our background in the food industry and our experience working with small producers, we developed our own line of caramel sauces under the Devils Churn brand. Additionally, we now offer a range of high-quality fine food hampers, showcasing locally produced speciality and award-winning products, suitable for all occasions.
